Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StyShot application and cloud services ("Service"). By downloading, installing, or using StyShot, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StyShot provides:

• A desktop application for capturing, selecting, and saving screenshots
• A cloud service for uploading screenshots and generating shareable links
• A web-based viewer for viewing shared screenshots with image manipulation tools
• Integration with third-party services (Google Lens) for image searching

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service lawfully. You will not capture or share content that infringes on others' intellectual property, privacy rights, or any applicable laws.
• Own or have rights to content you share. You are solely responsible for any screenshots you upload to the cloud service.
• Not abuse the Service. You will not attempt to overwhelm, hack, or disrupt the cloud infrastructure.
• Not upload prohibited content, including but not limited to: illegal material, malware, content depicting abuse, harassment, or threats.

4. Content Policy

However, by uploading content to our cloud service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and serve that content for the purpose of providing the sharing feature. This license terminates when the content is deleted.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.

5. Availability

• The Service is provided on an "as available" basis.
• We do not guarantee 100% uptime or availability.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
• Uploaded screenshots may be deleted during maintenance or due to storage constraints.

6. Intellectual Property

The StyShot application, source code (under MIT License), branding, and associated materials are the property of the StyShot project. The MIT License governs the use and redistribution of the source code.

7. Third-Party Services

StyShot integrates with third-party services that have their own terms:

• Google Lens: Subject to Google's Terms of Service

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable local laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate local jurisdiction.
